At the moment my career ambitions are relatively broad, since I am interested in so many fields. On the one hand, I see myself on the company side either in Product & Brand-management or on the more strategic side, which would then be market research. Going even more to a strategic area, my other interest lies within strategic consulting. In general, I am looking for a motivating and challenging job within an international atmosphere with a new challenge to tackle every day.
Interest in Market Research:
First of all, I have to admit that participating at the Congress has ‘revamped’ my personal view and with this, my interest in market research. Before, my curiosity was mainly driven by my own master thesis on innovation and brand-rejuvenation. Yet, after having had the chance to speak up, share thoughts with professionals and participate in very interesting workshops, my interest in the research industry has been sparked. In my opinion, the interesting part are the ever changing tasks and the strategic and with that forward-looking responsibility that comes with a market researcher.
Final word on Market Research:
As paradoxical as it may seem, what is needed right now is marketing for market research!
