Following the success of our ESOMAR “Best of” - Russia series in 2011 and 2012, ESOMAR will again return to Moscow to explore how research and development can continue to drive business growth in Russia.

Join us for ‘Switched On – The Future is Here!’ as we discuss issues, tools, applications and strategies in Russia’s increasingly growing digital environment while exploring the issues of quality when running research projects. The event will also offer an ideal opportunity to showcase innovative, thought-provoking and emerging approaches coming from Russia, as well as client cases demonstrating ROI in all sectors.

  • Judith Passingham, CEO Northern and Eastern Europe at TNS, UK, who will make the case for change: change in the way we think and in the way we act as a profession.
  • Marco Bevolo, Founder of Marco Bevolo Consulting, Senior Lecturer at NHTV University of Applied Sciences and the co-author of the book ‘Premium by Design’. Based on a groundbreaking study, he will share an overview of trends in Luxury and High End and a global and regional perspective for expected key directions for the next half decade.

Alexander Shashkin
Alexander Shashkin is CEO, OMI. Alexander, ,founded the OMI company after 2 successful years as Managing Director at GMI.. He came to the business world from the Institute of Sociology, Russian Academy of Sciences, where he was a Senior Researcher. Prior to this, he was a co-founder and Deputy Director of the Center for Analytical Research and Development and a Kazan and Associate Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Evaluation Research at London Metropolitan University, UK. He holds a PhD in Sociology.

Oleg Dembo
Oleg Dembo is General Director at O+K, Research Company and
is the ESOMAR Representative in Russia. Oleg started his career in research in 1994 as a research assistant in a small local agency, during his 4th year in the sociology department of St. Petersburg University. He then worked as a project manager and head of the quantitative research department in St. Petersburg-based Suomen Gallup subsidiary (now a part of TNS). In 1999, he co-founded O+K agency which has since grown to reach a national top 20 ranking and has become the most successful Russian agency with a non-Moscow origin.

Tatiana Barakshina
Tatiana Barakshina is Research Director at Bazis Intelligence Group Russia and
an ESOMAR Council Member. Tatiana has 8 years hands-on experience in international market research and has been a lecturer and professional trainer in market research for 4 years. She has designed and implemented complex market segmentation projects in Europe, CIS and Middle East and collaborates with several Russian publications such as op Leader Journal, DelovojKvartal, the FederalPress and UralPolit.ru

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend, a substitute may attend in your place. Please note, however, that the status of the replacement delegate (member/non-member) may affect the original fee charged. Cancellations must be received by ESOMAR in writing or you will be considered a No Show (no refund given). All refund claims must be received within 5 working days after the event has been held. The cancellation charges will apply irrespective of whether the registration fees have been paid or not.
