Andrea Mezzasalma
Global Head of Internet, Television and Radio Audience Measurement (iTRAM)
Andrea joined TNS in August 2006 to lead the iTRAM division. Within his role Andrea is responsible for driving innovation and strategy across the audience measurement sector at a time when the industry is facing a revolution in the way consumers interact with media and entertainment.
Prior to joining TNS, Andrea worked at Eurisko where he became Vice President and youngest partner in the business.
He has broad experience across a wide range of research sectors and has a strong background in segmentation and data integration. He developed innovative segmentation tools that have become a standard in Italy, having been adopted by the main Italian Joint Industry Committees.
In recent years, Andrea led the Eurisko Innovation Centre. In this capacity, he designed and ran a pioneering GPS methodology for measuring the exposure of Out Of Home (OOH) advertising, chosen by the Italian Audiposter Joint Industry Committee. Andrea also led the technical and commercial development of the Eurisko Media Monitor, a portable multimedia meter, based on advanced sound matching technologies.
Andrea graduated from the University of Milan with a degree in political science, specialising in Quantitative Methods for Social Sciences. His interests include travel, music, reading and writing. He is a keen tennis player and skier.
