President, ACNielsen Asia-Pacific, Hong Kong
Bienvenido (Nonoy) Niles serves as President of ACNielsen Asia Pacific. In this role he is responsible for overall management, business performance and strategic direction of ACNielsen in the Asia Pacific region that includes China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and several other key Asian markets. In this capacity he also serves as the leader of the Asia Pacific Executive Committee. He is based in Hong Kong.
Prior to his current position, Niles served as Chief Client Service Officer, Asia Pacific. Before this, he served as Managing Director of Southeast Asia. He joined ACNielsen in 1994 as Managing Director, Philippines.
Before joining ACNielsen, he managed the Regional Market Research activities of Procter and Gamble’s Asia Pacific Division.
Over a 30-year career, Niles has become one of the most respected market research practitioners in Asia. He is a former President of the Marketing and Opinion Research Society of the Philippines (MORES) and recently won the Agora Award for Regional Marketing Excellence. He has been invited to speak in numerous conferences and seminars locally and regionally on topics related to marketing research and insights generated therein. Niles earned an honours degree in Management Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University in Manila, Phillipines.
