The demand of online patient communication
  • Online patient communication is good business on one hand while undertaking social responsibility on the other.
  • Pharmaceutical companies can make contact with the patients and influence them without promoting the drugs.
  • Meanwhile the need for online information on healthy lifestyle, prevention, diseases and possible therapies is increasing rapidly.
  • It is important to know who we can address this way, what kind of information is needed and trusted, what kind of portals, websites can be successful in the long run.
  • This paper focuses on chronic patients. The results and conclusions are based upon primary market researches among them.
