Improving decision making
Business consultancy skills in the MR context
Workshop overview
The role of market research has evolved. Methodological skills are no longer enough. New, ‘consultative’ skills are needed as we become more involved in ensuring that our information is used effectively in organisational decision-making. In this workshop you can expect to:
- Learn how to combine marketing research evidence with management intuition and present this as a compelling narrative winning the hearts and minds of senior decision-takers.
- Gain insights into a number of practical ideas that will help you interpret your evidence.
- Understand the ingredients for successful business decision-making and acquire the additional consultative skills needed to operate, not only as a market researcher, but as a decision facilitator.
- The session will have a number of case studies illustrating the key points and principles that are being made and delegates will have an opportunity to ‘role play’ the different individuals involved within a typical decision-making ‘drama’.
