Abstract

Wealth is being created in Asia at an unprecedented pace, and the share of world wealth held by Asian millionaires is expected to rise to 25% by 2011. In preparation of this new wealth, the presentation reviews the Asian affluent, and assesses what new norms are being created which may be transmitted to the new millionaires. The presentation is based on a study with two objectives: to understand the motivations of the super affluent, and whether the super affluent could be potential trend setters for the broader group.
