Economist and president of the Leger Marketing survey and marketing research firm, Jean-Marc Léger is considered by Commerce magazine as one of the four most promising young leaders in the Canadian business world today.Under his leadership, Leger Marketing has experienced strong growth in the last few years and with acquisitions in Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and Philadelphia. Leger Marketing has become the largest Canadian-owned market research and survey firm with 650 employees including 100 professionals.
Jean-Marc Léger was President of the Board of Directors of the second largest university in Canada, UQAM, as well as the Publicité Club de Montréal, and is currently member of the Board of Governors for the Board of Trade. He is also member of the Raoul-Dandurand Chair of Strategic and Diplomatic Studies at UQAM, a research institute monitoring the United States and member of the Chair of American Studies at the Université de Montréal.
