ESOMAR Director General Véronique Jeannin started her professional career as an international law consultant in 1981. Since 1985, she has been engaged in a number of senior international marketing and multicultural management functions for major blue chip companies in Paris, London, and Geneva focusing on various markets including Western and Eastern Europe, the Nordics and Africa. She brings with her a wealth of business, marketing and representation experience. Véronique joined ESOMAR, The World Market Research organisation, on the 1st of March 2005 with the objective of meeting the challenges of the Market Research Industry in a rapid developing landscape, continuing the development of the organisation’s leading position, enhancing effective industry facilitation and further strengthening ESOMAR’s role in promoting high standards of industry performance. At ESOMAR, she heads a 30-strong international team dedicated to the worldwide implementation of the organisation’s strategy, inline with its mission and statutes. She is fluent in French, German, and English and holds a Master’s Degree in Business and International Law from the University of Paris XI. Truly international she has spent 20 years of her life living abroad. The main companies that she has worked for include: Danone, Eden Springs Europe, R.J Reynolds International, Gallaher Ltd, United States Tobacco. |

Director Development and Events Prior to joining ESOMAR in 1977, Anna worked in an international capacity at ISIDA – a business school in Palermo, Italy, where she was liaising with international organisations linked to the school. During her early years at ESOMAR, she took a break of one year, during which she considered joining the European Parliament in Luxembourg, where she had won a competition for a position at the Italian Ministry. At ESOMAR, she is responsible for the creation, development and implementation of ESOMAR’s strategy for events, activities, projects and initiatives that promote ESOMAR’s reputation for high standard products and services for market research professionals and their organizations worldwide. Anna’s career at ESOMAR spans several years having played a pivotal role in broadening and enhancing the worldwide events calendar which represents one of the best known activities of the organisation, and leading key projects such as Vision 2010 and Developing Talent. Anna is Italian, studied Economics at the University of Palermo and is fluent in Italian, English, French, Spanish and Dutch. Through her contacts with people, companies and organizations around the world, she has built the knowledge and confidence to work with different cultures recognizing that each one has its own style and traditions, and keeping a balance. |
