Marketing Research Career Network

Industry leaders say that  “Today, the best researchers can focus more on the interpretation of more data, and in this respect, they are becoming much more like consultants to their clients.” (Tony Cowling).
Eric Salama says that “…..we are in competition with a lot of other industries which are apparently sexier.  People have not taken the talent agenda seriously…”  Finding new skills in a saturated market is a key concern for business leaders on both the agency and the buyer’s side of the market research industry.

The Marketing Research Career Network is born out of the Developing Talent Initiative and looks to address these concerns through high quality recruitment for market research professionals and beyond worldwide.    Underpinned by our ICC/ESOMAR International code of marketing and social research, the network matches talent with the needs of the market on an international scale.

Academics

ESOMAR is also well placed to talk to academia and try to influence the way in which market research is taught.  To bolster the need for business and academics to become closer to each other and to look at our industries needs differently, academic institutions are able to place their career opportunities (free of charge) on the website.
