May I have your attention?
Stefan LechereAbstract
At WM3 in Budapest, Stefan Lechere - Vice President European Business Development of Netvibes - discusses how brands and advertisers can grab the attention of consumers through the use of Widgets.
We live in an Attention Society; everyday, people are bombarded with ads, emails, videos, news stories, blog feeds, TV shows, text messages, podcasts, photo streams. They receive invites to join the latest social network or web service, each new brand vying for attention. Stefan discusses how marketers can rise above the chatter by directly engaging audiences through individual personalization. Content-focused widgets will find a more interesting place than traditional banner ads on the user's homepage. In his presentation Stefan will illustrate this by case studies, showing the effectiveness of this type of communication.
