With over twenty years of interacting with consumers, she has dealt with the Indian target audience's relationship with almost the entire gamut of categories & concerns – skin, oral & hair care, fertilizers, jewelry, insurance, banking, computers, mobile phones, toys, foods, home care, AIDS - for various global clients.
Recently she has enjoyed putting together the chapter on Youth Research along with Joel-Yves le Bigot and Catherine Lott-Vernet, in the MARKET RESEARCH HANDBOOK, from ESOMAR.
She has represented the Indian perspective at international forums - presented 'Hot Buttons that Trigger India'... at the first international 'Excellence in Consumer Insights' ESOMAR conference held at Madrid in 2003; 'Packaging Insights from India' at QRCA, Phoenix, 2004, and on Retail: 'Haggling, Bargaining and Fixed Price Policies' at Valencia in 2007.
Teaching is a passion. She has taken guest lectures at the London Business School, and was invited as a speaker to their Marketing Conference in 2006.
Presently, she is immersed in the fieldwork of a PhD. In Sociology. On Everyday Life and Patterns of Consumption, in the non-metro town of Solapur in Southern Maharashtra.
