Simon leads the Global Consumer Insight Team for Unilever’s Oral Care category, with responsibility for tactical and strategic innovation research projects. Prior to joining Unilever, Simon held a lectureship at the University of Southampton where he completed his PhD as well as working in MR as a qualitative researcher. His current research interests are in product innovation and design, brands and materiality and the sociology of ordinary consumption.
