A noted cultural commentator, Stan Stalnaker is the Founder of Hub Culture Ltd. and President and Creative Director of Hub Culture Services Ltd, with bases in London, New York and Singapore.
Hub Culture began in 2002 with the worldwide publication of Hub Culture: The Next Wave of Urban Consumers, the first specialized look at the emergence of harmonized cultural psychographics in the world economy. Following the success of the book, activity shifted online to http://www.hubculture.com/, now the leading source of information and interactivity for this private community of urban influentials. In 2004 Hub Culture expanded to develop blue-chip social action experiences leveraged across a variety of cities, including London, Shanghai, New York, Hong Kong, Venice, Mykonos, Rio de Janeiro, Miami, San Francisco, Sydney and Washington D.C. Today hub culture is one of the world’s most influential private social networks, with regular fundraising and event based activities, a private collection of city guides, and collaborative access to some of the world’s most influential people.
Previously, Stalnaker worked from 1996 to 2007 at Time Warner, focused on Time Inc’s FORTUNE Group, handling international marketing operations first in Asia Pacific, then EMEA and Latin America. In addition to strategic branding projects for a long list of international clients, he has also overseen production of signature events for Time Inc. business properties and strategic planning in over a dozen countries, including the critically acclaimed Principal Voices leadership project by CNN, TIME and FORTUNE.
From 1999 to 2001, Stalnaker curated a web column in Asia Pacific for cnn.com and time.com called Culture on Demand and is a regular contributor to magazines and television the world over. Stalnaker has a B.A. in Economic Development and a B.A. in Economics from American University in Washington D.C and usually resides in London.
