The healthcare journey

Abstract

Healthcare providers and businesses are trying to address the challenges of differentiating themselves within the healthcare market, balancing costs with quality of care whilst trying to define competitive solutions that can offer meaningful and sustainable healthcare experiences. Philips Design has created a tailored set of co-creative people research methodologies to begin to understand the complex landscape of healthcare and the healthcare journey from the patient as well as care giver perspectives. Using case studies from recent projects for Philips Healthcare we will illustrate our approach and share key conclusions, including how we see the role of research being reshaped through this work.
