An amazingly chaotic, incredibly insightful event. As a volunteer I got exposure to the top companies in the market research field, not only to see what they are doing but to talk personally to those leading the way. I would recommend the programme to anyone. From the networking opportunities to the presentations I got to attend I learnt so much!

Jill Watkins, Bachelor of Business Studies, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland - Congress 2015, Dublin

I can recommend the FTMI programme to anyone who is interested in marketing in general and marketing research in particular. I was able to attend an incredible range of fascinating talks that are relevant for my research and made a number of very valuable contacts to boot. The team always treated us like another part of ESOMAR staff, which really made working with you all a great experience. The whole congress was just amazingly well organised – thanks again for the opportunity!

Ana-Isabel Noelke, PhD in Management, University of Edinburgh, UK - Congress 2015, Dublin

Esomar's Annual Congress 2015 on Market Revelations was eye-opening and thrilling with key-note speakers such as Susan HayesCulleton and Jordan Casey bringing a varied and insightful perspective to the market research industry. Being a part of the Future Talent Meets the Industry team enabled me to connect with exciting people working in successful companies all over the world.

Jenny Molyneaux, Strategic Public & International Relations student at Stirling University, Ireland - Congress 2015, Dublin

The conference gave us new insights into the industry and the future challenges and opportunities the industry will face. It was especially nice to talk to industry professionals and network with like-minded people. The conference definitely sparked my interest in marketing research and I aspire to attend the conference as a future delegate.

Naustdal Amalie, Nanyang Technological University (exchange), Maastricht University (home university), Norway - Asia Pacific 2015, Singapore

ESOMAR was that kind of experience that you want to come alive again every single time. More than conferences, the environment that the company and its people provide made the event a unique experience for everybody. It was a pleasure to share that amazing time with many talented people that became our inspiration to build a path, which journey will take us to different places where curiosity will drive the encouragement of making research.
Thanks for the opportunity ESOMAR

Maria Jose Torres Parrales, Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo, Guayaquil, Ecuador - Latin America 2015, São Paulo

Participating in ESOMAR's event was more than participating in a conference. It was a full experience of new ideas, new people and even new places to see. The high quality conference opened my eyes in different ways, which is something I am very thankful of. I am happy for being part of such a great intellectual deployment. But, above this, I am happy for having met wonderful people, from ESOMAR's members to the other students - who, I am happy to say this, are now my friends. Thanks ESOMAR for giving us this opportunity, I hope that other students as me will have the chance.

Carola Dinamarca, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Chile - Latin America 2015, São Paulo

This event was one of the best experiences of my life, and I am pleased to say that this experience is not over. Yet I establish relationships with the great people I met there; In this small paragraph I could not describe how great it is to know "the giants" of the research industry, and to connect what I have learned in my classes with real life case studies.
Finally.. Thanks to ESOMAR, and SSI, and all the people that allowed me to listen to their ideas and shared with me his knowledge.

Juan Jose Ramirez Mesa, Universidad EAFIT, Medellin, Colombia - Latin America 2015, São Paulo

Before knowing ESOMAR, I had never been involved in an activity with professionals who are passionate about their jobs and eager to share their remarkable stories and presentations. Participating in one of ESOMAR's Global Qualitative conferences helped me a lot in gaining a deeper understanding of how market research works. Not only did I acquire knowledge about quantitative and qualitative market research but also I got the opportunity to socialize with students from different countries whom I'm still in contact with and to network with quant and qual researchers who are professionals in their field and inspire me a lot. I truly encourage students to participate in the upcoming ESOMAR conferences because in three days I definitely learned a lot and so will they.

Maria Veronika Jacobs, Student, University in Venice, Italy - Global Qualitative 2014, Venice

Working at the qualitative conference in Venice helped form my opinions about marketing in general. It made it change from having a fuzzy image of people making commercials, to understanding it as a group of individuals working together to improve the world company-by-company.
The opportunity to see these individuals interact and approach problems in their own specific styles was invaluable.

Maja Jovivic, Master's student of Corporate Communication, Universita della Svizzera Italiana, Switzerland - Global Qualitative 2014, Venice

As part of the Student Guide Team in ESOMAR Congress 2014, I gained first-hand insight about the latest endeavors in the market research industry. It was a privilege to have had the opportunity to network face-to-face with employers from leading MR companies from disparate parts of the world. ESOMAR Congress is definitely recommended and highly relevant for students who want to kickstart their professional career in the MR industry!
