The Future Talent Meets the Industry initiative allows students from around the world the chance to participate in one of ESOMAR’s global events. Students recommended by their professors have the opportunity to attend conference sessions, network with the industry’s leading minds and assist ESOMAR in the staging of the event. Places in the initiative are highly sought after and preceded by a stringent review process that includes interviews and a written submission to ensure that the best and brightest students from around the world are chosen to participate.

Before knowing ESOMAR, I had never been involved in an activity with professionals who are passionate about their jobs and eager to share their remarkable stories and presentations. Participating in one of ESOMAR's Global Qualitative conferences helped me a lot in gaining a deeper understanding of how market research works. Not only did I acquire knowledge about quantitative and qualitative market research but also I got the opportunity to socialize with students from different countries whom I'm still in contact with and to network with quant and qual researchers who are professionals in their field and inspire me a lot. I was honored to be have been invited to ESOMAR Annual Congress in Nice, which provided a valuable forum for experts to discuss crucial global research issues. It expanded the horizons of my understanding of the marketing communication industry and its effect on day-to-day operations for any company.

As I work in media advertising, it was valuable for me to realize the importance of selecting a segment of the most valuable customers and targeting this particular group in order to maximize the return on investment. Therefore, I am glad that ESOMAR congress allowed me to realize that under the same conditions of knowledge and preferences, companies might have different performance due to its understanding of the market and audience.

I believe that every participant has learnt something new but what combines us together is the fact that we were all inspired to bring what we learnt to our places of work and apply it in the real world.
