Membership Qualifications
- Submit to the admittance Committee about the applicant’s organization
- Be object of a supervision visit by the members of the admittance committee
- Be recommended by at least two others members of AMAI
- Be approved by the AMAI members on the General Assembly (called once every two months)
- Accept to comply with publication requirements and AMAI mandatory quality standard

Activities
- Harmonization of socio-economical levels index (updated annually)
- Publication of a quarterly journal, relations with universities, international associations and governmental authorities
- Endorsement and participation in a specialty course on market research with one top Mexican University
- Has a website in Spanish devoted entirely to market and opinion research
- Annual Seminars: Each year AMAI offers conferences and workshops for the research community
