Biography:
Margit started her career in market research in 1984 in Munich, Germany. Since then, she has worked in various markets as diverse as Germany, USA and West, Central and East Africa.
Her prior work experience includes Infratest-Burke, Germany; Mars Surveys, USA; IJF Institut fur Jugendforschung, Germany; and RMS International, Nigeria. For the past 20 years, Margit has been living and working in Africa, coordinating projects in well over 20 African markets.

In 2006, Margit set up African Research Service Bureau, a research consultancy based in Kenya. In 2010, she founded Infinite Insight Kenya, a full service market research agency based in Nairobi. and now serves as the company's Managing Director.
Margit specialises in quantitative consumer research as well as opinion polling (she is a member of WIN/GIA expert group on opinion polling and, in 2006, contributed to the GIA Voice of the People book).
Throughout her career in Africa, Margit has been involved in initiatives and professional associations dedicated to promoting professional standards. She is a founding member of the Pan African Media Research Association (PAMRO) as well as the Nigerian Marketing Research Association (NiMRA). Since 2005, Margit is a member of the Marketing and Social Research Association (MSRA) in Kenya. Margit has been a member of ESOMAR since 2000.
Margit has also promoted best practices in market and media research by lecturing at events sponsored by ADVAN, AAPN, MAN, Lagos Business School and UNICEF. She has presented papers at various international conferences: World Values Survey Workshop (1999); WAPOR (2000); PAMRO (2003 through 2005); and Gallup International Association (Best Conference Paper Award in 2003).
