ESOMAR at 16th Polish Market Research Kongress

ESOMAR attended the 16th Polish Market Research Kongress in Warsaw organized by PTBRiO, the Polish Society of Market and Opinion Researchers.

The Kongress, held on 22-23 October is the largest market research event in Central Europe. One of the biggest gatherings of the industry in Poland, also pffering an industry exhibition, the Kongress gathered together nearly 550 delegates from 170 companies from the country and beyond. The event focused on the growing number of sources of information on consumer attitudes, as well as how classical quantitative and qualitative research has evolved with new methods such as enriching biometric measurements, semiotic analysis and ethnographic research. Presentation also tackled the hot topics of transactional data and consumer behavior on the Internet. Programme highlights included presentations on non-declarative data, fandom, prosument, fame, snapchat, brief. The ESOMAR community was represented by ESOMAR Council Vice President David Smith.
