ESOMAR, the world association for market, social and opinion research professionals, is proud to announce the winner for best paper from the ESOMAR Latin America 2012 event, which was held from 13 – 15 May, 2012 at the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel.
Selected by the 2012 Latin America Programme Committee, the Best Paper award serves as recognition for the most outstanding paper submitted for presentation at a regional conference. The winner of the "Best Paper" award for the Latin America 2012 is:

As the winner of the Best Paper award, Social Media Experiences, is automatically qualified as a nominee for the ESOMAR Excellence Award, which is presented each year at ESOMAR's annual Congress.
The Excellence Award is given to the top paper from ESOMAR conferences throughout the year that best reflects the broad aspects and challenges faced by the market research industry today. All nominations arejudged by an independent international jury.
This year's Excellence Award, which carries an ESOMAR-sponsored prize of 4,000 Euros, will be presented to the best overall paper of the season at the ESOMAR Annual Congress in Atlanta, 9 - 12 September, 2012.
