The Market Research Manager (m/f) will be part of the Market Intelligence & Research team, designing and executing market research projects independently, coordinating internal and external stakeholders and partners. The Market Research Manager is also responsible for the dissemniation of research results within and outside of the organization.


  • Design and execute market research projects as required by the business, generating insights that enable effective and timely business decision making
  • Manage external agencies and other market research partners
  • Consulting diverse product development teams in the Automotive, Platform, IoT and Mobility business units on market needd and opportunities
  • Support the Corporate Strategy team by creating strategic research content related to future market demand, shifting needs, changing consumer and customer behaviors and deduct recommendations
  • Align market research needs of different stakeholders to identify synergies
  • Disseminate research results within the organization


  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Adm. and/or Social Sciences/Psychology and/or Mathematics/Statistics
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with proven experience coordinating market research activities within an international corporation
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving qualities, executing key changes under tight timelines
  • Subject matter expert on qualitative and quantitative market research methods, social media monitoring
  • Deep understanding of automotive, consumer electronics and the broader technology landscape
  • Practical knowledge how to use market intelligence to drive business insight and business decision making
  • Experience from working, and successfully navigating cultural differences, in three key customer regions, i.e., North America, Europe and Asia/Pacific
  • Ability to interface effectively with key stakeholders, strong communication and presentation skills
  • High-performance and achievement-orientated attitude even in a resource constrained environment
  • Capable team player managing multiple relationships and projects simultaneously
