ESOMAR celebrates 70 years of data, research and insights with festival-style congress in Amsterdam

Creativity, innovation and insights collide at ESOMAR Congress – from 10 to 13 September

ESOMAR, the global association for market research, data analytics and insights, celebrates its 70th anniversary with a ground-breaking festival at the Beurs van Berlage. From 10 to 13 September 2017,  Amsterdam will welcome pioneering insights professionals to ESOMAR Congress: the innovation hotspot for the data, research and insights industry. During the festival, global brands – including Microsoft, Pepsi, Nestlé, AIR FRANCE KLM, Coca-Cola and easyJet – show how they use business intelligence and insights to develop strategies and products for their organisations.

Case studies by Dutch and Belgian brands

Top Dutch and Belgian brands and companies will present case studies to illustrate how data, research and insights impacted their business and brand. Martijn Helder and Hans Zijlstra from AIR FRANCE KLM will discuss the transformation of their CMI department – leading to increased customer power and sparking outside-in thinking within the business. Katia Pallini and Annelies Verhaeghe from InSites Consulting Belgium vision the future of automation and the arrival of robots, while Anneke Quinn-de Jong, Philips International, addresses the transformation of research.

‘Hack the Future of Research’ with Microsoft

In addition to Dutch and Belgian speakers, visitors will take away actionable learnings and new trends from global insights leaders. For example during the ‘Hack the Future of Research’ hackathon, led by Reed Cundiff from Microsoft Corporation, or the ‘Alice in Customerland’ session: a discussion between a CX researcher and his virtual AI assistant named Alice. ESOMAR Congress also offers one of the biggest business intelligence exhibitions in the world, for a 360° experience of corporate, tech and panel innovations and solutions.
