Job Announcement: Senior Digital Marketing Executive

ESOMAR seeks to recruit a Senior Digital Marketing Executive responsible for coordinating our marketing activities and related programmes in support of all our revenue-generating activities.

The Senior Digital Marketing Executive is a hands-on role. They are responsible for leading the marketing efforts as part of the overall digital marketing and communications strategy for ESOMAR.

The Executive has expertise in omni-channel marketing. They plan, develop, optimise, monitor and evolve our efforts across email, social media, and web-based channels for our products and services.  

The Senior Executive has previous experience using and deploying campaigns using the Salesforce Pardot platform, this is an essential competence. An individual who is creative and has an interest in design will be considered an advantage.   

Job experience: Minimum 3 years experience (however 5+ years professional or relevant experience is desirable) 
Expected Salary: Commensurate and competitive package

Job location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands, with some travel and working from home opportunities
Reporting to: Head of Public Affairs and Industry Standards

Desired Skills
· In-depth understanding of Salesforce
· In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
· Experience in segmenting target audiences and creating succesful digital campaigns 
· Experience in optimizing user and customer funnels
· Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
· Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
· Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be an advantage.

Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Digital Marketing Executive deputises the Head of Team in coordinating and executing our marketing services and activities.

Leads on the development and success of our marketing programmes in support of revenue-generating services and products:

  • Develops and implements lead generation strategies, campaigns, and tools (particularly Pardot and Salesforce, paid and organic social media campaigns, conversion point and segmentation grading and scoring, Google AdWords and similar, Google Data Studio conversion tracking), newsletters
  • Tracks and reports on the success of lead generation and conversion in collaboration with our sales and finance team.
  • Plans and executes all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns, in conjunction with internal partner teams
  • Leads on optimising channel usage to maximise OR’s, CTR’s, lead generation and conversion
  • Leads the development and performance measurement (RoI and KPIs) of campaigns
  • Coordinates the media partnership programme to increase ESOMAR’s reach and the success of organisational activities
    • Represents the organisation vis-à-vis existing and future media partners and develops partnership agreements
    • Monitors and ensures effective implementation of these agreements within ESOMAR and by the partner

Supports the Marketing and Communications service in executing the strategy:

  • Contributes and ensures effective deployment of a Marketing and Communications strategy
  • In collaboration with the Senior Marketing and Community Coordinator and Senior Multimedia Programmes Producer, monitors and reports on the performance of marketing and communications efforts

Coordinates and executes projects of Marketing and Communications team:

  • Leads on the creation of content messaging in support of these projects
  • Where required, support the creation of content collaterals for these projects

Curates, together with other team members, all public-facing digital touchpoints of ESOMAR:

  • Works with the Head of Team and other Coordinators as part of a content working group to:
    • Curate content published on all public-facing digital touchpoints of ESOMAR
    • Schedule, maintain and ensure an effective and high-performance schedule programme of email communications
